Technical Documentation Manager (Sizewell C)
Civil Works Alliance
Sizewell C
The Technical Documentation Manager is responsible for maintaining the integrity, traceability, and compliance of all concrete related documentation across Team Concrete divisions within the Civil Works Alliance (CWA).
This role ensures that all records: technical, operational, commercial, and compliance, are controlled, indexed, stored, and retrievable in accordance with the project governance, and audit requirements.
The role prevents fragmented documentation, lost approvals, audit failures, and lack of traceability by serving as the single source of truth for concrete documentation, decisions, approvals, and performance records.
Quality assurance in a nuclear construction environment depends fundamentally on robust data traceability, which is essential for successful project completion.
Essential
• Strong background in document control, administration, or project support within construction or engineering environments.
• High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with document management systems and digital filing structures.
• Ability to track, index, and control high volume technical records.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in chasing, escalating, and clarifying documentation issues.
• Ability to work under pressure with competing deadlines while maintaining document integrity.
• Experienced in concrete quality control and compliance procedures.
Desirable
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure, nuclear, or regulated projects.
• Familiarity with ITPs, RAMS, NCRs, concrete testing documentation, and construction quality systems.
• Experience supporting operational teams (e.g., production, logistics, engineering, commercial).
• Familiarity with ordering and delivery control processes.
For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK. As a project, we do not discriminate on the grounds of age, gender, race, colour, religion, disability or sexual orientation, and we welcome applications from all sections of the community.
