Job Responsibilities 


• The suitable candidate will have a basic understanding of general construction processes. 
• A good understanding of site operation and duties. 
•Capable of carrying out manual work and assisting with trades as required. 
• Maintains tidiness on site.
• A good understanding of Groundworks and Civils processes.
• Able to carry out delegated tasks without further direction. 
• An understanding of the requirements of multiple additional trades. 
• Communicating instructions clearly and precisely (Health and Safety rules, method statements and tool box talks). 

• Able to manage the delivery of delegated tasks and take responsibility for other workers.
• Ensuring that all allocated work is delivered safely.
• Ensuring that productivity, performance and quality are reflected in delivery.


Qualifications


Required Certification:


- CSCS Gold Supervisor Card 
- Emergency First Aid at Work 
- SSSTS / SMSTS 
- Right to Work in the UK
- Safety Critical Medical (Desirable)
- Full UK Drivers License 


Desirable Certifications 


- CPCS Card
- Confined Space Ticket 
- EUSR/NRSWA/ Street works Ticket
- NVQ in Pipe Laying 
- NVQ level 3 Supervision


Experience  


The successful candidate will have experience in a Ganger/Foreman/Supervisory position.
