Be the face of one of the UK's most significant projects
At Sizewell C, we're not just building a new nuclear power station. We're helping to secure Britain's energy future, create thousands of jobs and deliver lasting benefits for local communities.
We're looking for a highly organised, proactive and people-focused Visitor Coordinator to join our Regional External Affairs and Development (READ) team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing together people, plans and logistics to deliver exceptional experiences.
As Visitor Coordinator, you will play a vital role in showcasing the Sizewell C project to visitors ranging from local stakeholders and community groups through to senior executives, board members, government representatives and industry leaders. Every visit matters and you'll be instrumental in ensuring each one runs seamlessly from start to finish.
The Opportunity
This is much more than a diary management or administration role.
You'll be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end delivery of visits to Sizewell C, ensuring every detail has been considered and every experience reflects the professionalism and ambition of the project.
Working closely with colleagues across the READ team, site teams, Sizewell B and external partners, you'll manage multiple priorities, coordinate complex logistics and support visitors throughout their journey.
This role would suit someone with experience in administration, executive support, office management, visitor experience, events coordination, hospitality operations or stakeholder engagement.
Why Join as a Visitor Coordinator?
Few roles offer such a unique opportunity to become the public face of a major infrastructure project. You'll be at the centre of some of Sizewell C's most important stakeholder interactions, welcoming everyone from community groups and local partners to senior executives and government representatives. Every day will be different, giving you the opportunity to coordinate high-profile visits, build valuable relationships and play a key role in how people experience and understand one of the UK's most exciting projects. If you enjoy organisation, problem solving and delivering exceptional experiences, this is a role where you can truly make your mark.
What You'll Be Doing
Coordinating the full visitor journey from initial enquiry through to visit delivery
Managing the visits diary, calendars and booking processes
Coordinating travel, transport, hospitality, venues and visitor logistics
Welcoming guests and ensuring a professional, seamless experience throughout their visit
Working closely with senior leaders, project teams and external stakeholders
Maintaining accurate records and reporting on visitor activity
Supporting the production and upkeep of visitor materials and information packs
Building strong relationships with local venues, suppliers and community partners
Supporting occasional events across Suffolk and wider project locations
Ensuring all visits are delivered safely, professionally and to the highest standards
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is calm under pressure, naturally organised and able to think several steps ahead.
You'll be a confident communicator who enjoys working with a broad range of people and takes pride in delivering outstanding experiences.
You'll also have:
Strong office based experience, ideally within a relevant field such as administration, executive support, office management, events, operations etc
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Strong attention to detail
Experience managing diaries, schedules or complex logistics
The ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands
A proactive approach and the confidence to use your own initiative
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
The ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Experience within major projects, construction, infrastructure, corporate events or visitor operations would be advantageous but is not essential.
