Opportunity for a Utilities Project Manager working with Mactech on the Sizewell C Project,


Main Duties : 

 

  • Lead and manage all utilities project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Define and deliver work scope using New Roads and Streetworks Act measures
  • Oversee contractor and subcontractor activities, ensuring safety compliance
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders and delivery partners
  • Support Utilities Manager in delivering SZC utility strategy
  • Implement best practices in project management
  • Manage utility services including Telecommunications, Potable Water, Foul Water, Natural Gas, and Power
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project objectives


Qualifications : 

 

  • Industry knowledge of utility services and project management operations
  • Working knowledge of service avoidance and Safe digging practice (HSG 47)
  • Understanding of utilities Builder Work in Connection (BWIC) and CDM Regulations
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to complete security clearances and CTC checkNew Roads & Streetworks Act Qualification
  • Utilities Safety Card (EUSR) Accreditation
  • National Water Hygiene Accreditation
  • SMSTS Certification
  • Experience in CAD or Microsoft Project
