Temp Works Lead

Rates: Competitive Salary based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Establish and maintain procedures and standards for safe delivery of all temporary works
  • Develop and implement overarching Temporary Works procedure aligned with BS5975:2019 and CDM Regulations 2015
  • Build and lead a skilled team of Temporary Works Coordinators (TWCs) and Supervisors (TWSs)
  • Create and manage robust TW Register with innovative technology solutions
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of TW designers and coordinators
  • Collaborate on procurement for supplier competence evaluation
  • Drive standardization of TW designs for improved efficiency and safety
  • Establish performance monitoring and assurance regimes for all contractors

 

 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer status
  • Deep understanding of temporary works process (BS5975:2019)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills and established supply chain relationships

 

 

Desirable Skills:

 

  • Nuclear new build or wider nuclear industry experience
  • Knowledge of ONR Licence Conditions
  • Temporary works experience on major projects including tunnelling
