Technical Integration Manager (Sizewell C)

Location: Bristol, but other locations may be available. Some travel between our project offices (hybrid working arrangements)
Employment type: Permanent full-time/ part-time.
Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full-time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part- time approach where possible.
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the Sizewell C Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

You’ll report to our Head of Engineering Integration and set the direction to ensure engineering activities are robust, risks are managed and delivered in line with the schedule demands of the project.
The Role
As Technical Integration Manager you’ll define and implement engineering strategies, monitor their effectiveness and manage associated risks. You’ll lead the development and implementation of engineering sequences and manage associated risks. You’ll provide strategic guidance across the project ensuring alignment with project goals and technical requirements.
As the champion of the replication strategy, you’ll play a critical role in embedding the right behaviours and mindset across teams to ensure Sizewell C successfully replicates Hinkley Point C. You’ll proactively identify and mitigate risks related to the replication approach to ensure consistent and effective implementation.
This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for someone with wide engineering expertise, strong strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach to complex project delivery. It requires the ability to influence at all levels of a complex, high-profile infrastructure programme.
You will be a part of a wider leadership team who work together collaboratively and support each other to be able to succeed.
Qualifications & Skills:

Strong track record of building personal trust and operating with integrity and credibility
Ability to quickly understand a wide range of technical issues and make robust decisions
Exceptional communication skills with an ability to communicate and convey complex information simply at all levels
Proven track record as a leader (to include budgetary and staffing responsibilities)
Excellent presentation, influencing and facilitation skills
Political, commercial and strategic awareness and evidence of proactively building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience within the nuclear industry (or equivalent high hazard industry) / safety critical environment / UK regulatory environment
Demonstrable experience of delivering successful projects
Knowledge of budget monitoring and commercial awareness, commensurate with this position
Business acumen, with a forward-thinking approach and a focus on value and risk
Experience in contract management arrangements
Awareness of Safety Cases; their importance and how to interface.
