Systems Administrator (Sizewell C)

Job Responsibilities


• Provide day-to-day administration and first-line user support across Fulcrum, Blue Yonder WMS, Control Tower and other approved LLP systems.
• Create, amend and remove user accounts, roles and permissions through approved access-control processes.
• Administer operational configuration, workflows, reference data and master-data changes within delegated authority.
• Monitor system availability, interfaces, queues, exceptions and scheduled processing, and escalate failures promptly.
• Triage incidents and user issues, coordinate investigation and escalate defects to the Systems Lead, supplier or relevant technical team.
• Investigate data-quality issues, including missing, duplicate or inconsistent records, and coordinate correction with operational and functional owners.
• Support system testing, regression checks, User Acceptance Testing, release activity and operational-readiness evidence.
• Support user onboarding, guidance, refresher training and adoption of approved digital processes across Wilson James and LLP partner organisations.
• Maintain accurate access, support, configuration, incident, defect, test and change records, including clear audit trails.
• Produce routine reports on service performance, incidents, access, data quality, defects and outstanding actions, highlighting recurring trends.
• Apply information-security, data-protection and segregation-of-duty requirements and support business continuity, recovery testing and controlled manual workarounds when systems are unavailable.

Qualifications 


Essential
• Strong IT skills and practical experience administering or supporting a business system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, user-support and problem-solving skills.
• CITB HS&E Operatives or project-accepted equivalent before the start date.
• Ability to satisfy all Sizewell C security, vetting and site access requirements.
• Relevant systems, IT, data or application-support qualification, or demonstrable equivalent experience.


Desirable
• A recognised IT service-management, application-support or data qualification.
• Experience supporting logistics systems in a regulated, construction, infrastructure or major-project environment.
o A working knowledge of:
o Warehouse Management Systems and inventory-control processes, including Blue Yonder or comparable platforms
o Delivery Management Systems, booking and movement workflows, including Fulcrum or comparable platforms
o Control Tower reporting, operational analytics, master data and system interfaces
o ITIL principles, access management, change control and information security


Experience 


• Experience administering or supporting business, logistics, warehouse, transport or delivery-management systems.
• Good understanding of user access, permissions, workflow configuration, operational reference data and master-data controls.
• Structured approach to first-line support, incident triage, problem investigation, escalation and action tracking.
• Strong data accuracy, record-keeping and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve data-quality issues.
• Ability to follow controlled change, release, testing, information-security and data-protection processes.
• Confident user support and communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Working knowledge of reporting, data extraction and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
• Ability to manage multiple requests while protecting service priorities, operational controls and agreed escalation routes.
• Experience supporting interfaces between systems, system testing or operational mobilisation is desirable.
• Understanding of warehouse, material-control, delivery-booking or transport processes is advantageous.
