Salary: £52,000 to £70,000 dependent on experience, plus 5% bonus, 28 days holiday,  market leading pension 7.5 % employee contribution and company contribution of 15% and other benefits.

Your Role: As a Commercial Manager, you will be a member of the Supply Chain team responsible for managing the Design and Engineering contract for the project interfacing   daily with the SZC Programme Delivery, Finance and Legal teams in addition to managing the relationship with the supplier. To ensure the performance of the contract is optimised from a cost, delivery and quality perspective strong relationship management with both the supplier and internal SZC stakeholders will be key. 

 

If you are a Commercial Manager with experience in procurement and commercial/contract management across Aerospace, Power Generation, Engineering , Manufacturing or Large infrastructure projects looking to develop your career further, this could be the ideal opportunity  for you.

 

Key Responsibilities:
 

•    Assist  the commercial and contract management of the delivery programmes within the Engineering and Design contract for the Technical Directorate. 
•    Support procurement processes, including contract drafting and negotiations.
•    Administer contracts through their lifecycle, from pre-award to post-award phases utilising the CEMAR contract management tool.
•    Ensure adherence to SZC’s governance, processes, and procedures.
•    Foster high-performing supplier relationship management with a collaborative culture.
•    Transfer key operational expertise from Hinkley Point C to SZC.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:
 

•    Proven track record in successful contract administration.
•    Strong commercial and contract management skills. 
•    Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
•    Experience in a regulated environment and procurement processes.
•    Desirable: Experience with FIDIC/NEC contracts, professional chartership (RICS, MCIPS). 

 

 

Qualifications:
 

•    Relevant degree or equivalent experience.

Sizewell C Limited will be moving offices from 90 Whitfield Street to 25 Copthall Avenue. 

 

25 Copthall Avenue is a modern building just a short walk from Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations. Sizewell C will occupy the whole of the 4th floor. We are targeting a move in February 2025.

This role will be contractually based at 25 Copthall Avenue. However, depending on the date of the move there may be a period that you will be required to work temporarily from our existing office at 90 Whitfield Street. 

 

 

Sizewell C Limited (Sizewell C) is nuclear site licensed company whose business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk. Sizewell C was formerly under the majority ownership of the EDF Group but is currently majority owned by HM Government and operates as an independent company. EDF remains a key shareholder in Sizewell C and the business therefore maintains close links to EDF as a part of its ‘nuclear family’.
