Dalkia have an opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their growing team across the facilities at Sizewell C. This is a great opportunity to grow with the organisation, and develop your skills and knowledge within an exciting and constantly changing environment.

40 hours per week
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm


General Overview

This role is based at SZC, and will be responsible for supervising and undertaking planned and reactive maintenance tasks and ensuring that the facilities provide a safe and secure environment that enables the client's staff to concentrate on their business activities with minimum disruption.


You will be an integral part of the site maintenance team in ensuring that the EDF properties facilities run smoothly and are successful in supporting business activities and for providing a professional service for our client. 

Duties:


•    Responsible for the allocation and completion of all maintenance service requests.
•    Ensuring that assigned PPMs are completed and recorded within the agreed timescales. 
•    Respond to reactive works recorded on the help desk and assigned to compliance engineers ensuring that the works are completed and recorded within the agreed timescales.
•    Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
•    Reporting to the Performance Lead any unusual occurrences and any damage that has taken place during maintenance.
•    Complete weekly payroll time sheets and submit to Performance Lead.
•    Promote Health and Safety within the team and raise awareness amongst team and ensure all Health and Safety instructions are followed
•    Appointed Authority for water maintenance, and risk assessments, ensuring the site logbooks are maintained and kept up to date.
•    Carryout site legionella audits with the client, ensuring all risks are captured, and updated.
•    Undertake training identified to maintain compliance.


Impact:

This role is to ensure that Dalkia have the correct resource levels to meet the contract and client expectations; there is no direct responsibility for budgets or people. The role is to assist in ensuring that the office facilities are operating correctly and are successful in allowing our customers to concentrate on their business activities with minimum disruption.


Complexity: 

Working around Office staff who typically works from 07:00 - 19:00pm without creating undue noise and mess. Managing the workload when other members of the team on holiday/absent.

•    DEVELOPING: Identifying training gaps and liaising with the FM Management to ensure that you are fully trained and competent to undertake all aspects of your job and tasks.
