Job Responsibilities
Reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings.
Cutting, bending and fixing reinforcing steel to specification.
Installing reinforcement cages, mesh and steel bars for concrete structures.
Tying reinforcement using hand tools and power tools.
Working safely alongside shuttering carpenters, concrete teams and other trades.
Maintaining high standards of quality, productivity and health & safety.
Carrying out general steelfixing duties on major civils and infrastructure works.
Qualifications
Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card (Steelfixing) or equivalent.
Experience
Previous experience working on major civils or infrastructure projects.
Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
Good understanding of reinforced concrete construction.
Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
