Job Responsibilities
 

Installing, bending and erecting rebar
Selecting correct steel specifications
Selecting materials for a task and inspecting suitability
Reading, interpreting and working from drawings and schedules
Supervising and managing steel fixing operations
Monitoring work progress
Inspecting completed work
Providing guidance to team members
Enforcing safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment


Qualifications 


CSCS (Supervisor)
Emergency First Aid at Work
Full UK Drivers License
SSSTS or SMSTS


Experience


Familiarity and experience with site operation and the techniques of Steel fixing.
Experience of installing, bending and erecting rebar, experience at selecting correct steel specifications. Competent at selecting materials for a task and inspecting their suitability. Able to read, interpret and work from drawings and schedules.
Experience in a supervisory position.
