Stakeholder Manager – Infrastructure (Sizewell C)


Location – Leiston, Suffolk 


Purpose of the role:


As an experienced Stakeholder & Communications Manager based on our brand new £100m+ major highways project in Leiston, Suffolk, you will be work closely with the site team in order to deliver benefits and initiatives to support the local community. This is a hands-on role, balanced with the need for strategic thinking and long-term planning.


What you will be doing:


•    Build and maintain strong, solution-focused relationships with customers, stakeholders, and the supply chain.
•    Implement public engagement plans as directed by the Stakeholder & Communications Manager.
•    Serve as the on-site contact for stakeholders, managing queries, complaints, and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
•    Clearly communicate construction timelines and disruptions to affected parties in advance.
•    Maintain accurate logs of all stakeholder interactions to support transparency and reporting.
•    Plan and deliver public events, drop-ins, and stakeholder meetings to share project updates.
•    Support community engagement, including outreach to schools and employability initiatives,
•    and assist in achieving Considerate Contractor status.
•    Create social media content and monthly reports on KPIs, stakeholder feedback, and social value activities.


Key Objectives & Accountabilities:


•    Maintain organised, up-to-date records of stakeholders, concerns, and all relevant communications.
•    Ensure stakeholders are consistently informed; respond to complaints, queries, and compliments within 24 hours.
•    Provide monthly performance reports and general communications support to key customers.
•    Develop and revise a stakeholder strategy, including a 12-month look-ahead plan with milestones and team accountability.
•    Build and implement a project communications plan, coordinating regular external updates.
•    Collaborate with the project team and group communications team to align messaging and maximise social impact.
•    Ensure communications strategies for Sizewell are effective for both internal and external audiences.
•    Strategically manage the relationship with Sizewell and provide guidance to improve project communications overall.


About You:


•    Strong written, presentation, and advanced communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Excellent time management and ability to track and manage information effectively.
•    Proficient in Microsoft 365 and general IT systems.
•    Knowledge of the National TOMs framework and social value guidance.
•    Degree (2:1 preferred) and UK driving licence with flexibility to travel.
