Dalkia have a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Space Planner (CAD Designer) at our Sizewell C site based near Leiston.


You will be responsible for undertaking contract space planning of internal new and existing buildings on the Sizewell C Estate, ensuring that the facilities provide a safe and secure environment that enables workers to concentrate on their business activities.
You will be an integral part of the site management team in ensuring that the Sizewell C properties are space utilisation planned and co-ordinated correctly. 


Duties:

 

  • Assist in internal design and providing guidance on office refurbishment and expansions
  • Plan project requirements by developing construction drawings and details
  • Perform design review, value engineering, and construction management for all in-house projects
  • Self-motivated and assures that all planograms produced are accurate based on the information supplied and follows the Merchandising Guidelines set by Management
  • Contributes to the overall merchandising of products per store by creating planograms based on assortment plans, new product and seasonal sets, which is provided by management
  • Able to analyse business issues, category trends on presentation opportunities
  • Ensure product flow and adjacencies across each department by using MAP assortments, work with RACMS to develop approved floor layouts and department flow
  • Create and build new planograms and space plans
  • Ensuring electronic and paper records, including reports are completed in a timely manner.
  • Working closely with Managers and Finance to support all financial processes relating to the contract and co-ordinating any additional costs relating to suppliers or subcontractors.
  • Managing all queries from both internal and external customers and clients through to conclusion.


Qualifications or Required Experience:

 

  • Significant design experience with computer-aided design / drafting utility, AutoCAD or similar software
  • Expert knowledge of CAD software
  • Understanding and use of various collaboration tools including Live-Meeting, videoconferencing, audio-visual systems, conference room management, mobile technology
  • Role in similar position preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work well without supervision
  • Clean Driving License
  • Good client facing skills
