Salary: Day rate dependent on experience
 

 

Location: Site-based in Sizewell C, Leiston, Suffolk

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure compliance with Construction (Design & Management) (CDM) Regulations
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, and Contractor teams
  • Promote health, safety, and wellbeing during project stages
  • Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations
  • Provide expert guidance on legislative and site-specific safety standards
  • Support transport safety and operational compliance
  • Challenge and improve safety practices constructively
  • Manage safety risks in construction and service environments

 

 

Qualifications/Experience:

 

  • Background in construction or transport/service environments
  • Recognized Health & Safety qualification
  • IOSH Membership
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Experience investigating accidents and incidents
  • Proven track record of delivering safety results
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Passion for continuous safety improvement
  • Previous experience in nuclear industry
