Salary: Day rate dependent on experience
Location: Site-based in Sizewell C, Leiston, Suffolk
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Construction (Design & Management) (CDM) Regulations
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, and Contractor teams
- Promote health, safety, and wellbeing during project stages
- Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations
- Provide expert guidance on legislative and site-specific safety standards
- Support transport safety and operational compliance
- Challenge and improve safety practices constructively
- Manage safety risks in construction and service environments
Qualifications/Experience:
- Background in construction or transport/service environments
- Recognized Health & Safety qualification
- IOSH Membership
- Valid CSCS Card
- Experience investigating accidents and incidents
- Proven track record of delivering safety results
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Passion for continuous safety improvement
- Previous experience in nuclear industry
