Site Engineer (Sizewell C)

Main Duties:


•    Set out and survey works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
•    Support the management of subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality.
•    Carry out quality checks, prepare inspection and test records, and ensure compliance with nuclear safety standards.
•    Assist in developing method statements, risk assessments, and work package plans.
•    Monitor progress, maintain daily site records, and provide accurate reporting to the Section Engineer.
•    Ensure works comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements, including adherence to nuclear site licence conditions.
•    Coordinate with designers, temporary works engineers, and client representatives to resolve technical issues.
•    Support digital construction processes, including BIM and document management systems.


Requirements:


•    Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
•    Proven experience as a Site Engineer on major infrastructure, civil, or nuclear projects.
•    Strong knowledge of setting out, surveying, and use of digital construction tools.
•    Demonstrated understanding of quality control and assurance processes.
•    CSCS card (essential); SMSTS/SSSTS and other nuclear/regulated site clearances desirable.
•    Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
