Site Delivery Lead (SRC) (Sizewell C)
Description & Background:
As part of Sizewell C's leadership team, the Site Delivery Lead plays a crucial role in providing overarching direction for the Temporary Construction Area sub-programme. This position involves leading a large team of Senior Project Managers and Managers (30+) to ensure successful delivery of extensive scope covering Earthworks, Enabling Works (including UXO, ecology, archaeology), Civils, Networks, and Buildings. Working within a complex matrix structure, you'll coordinate with the supply chain team, quality team, and suppliers to drive project success.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Work with Project Teams to define work scope and manage interfaces
- Secure and maintain required resources with appropriate qualifications and experience
- Provide strategic direction in line with Programme Execution Plan (PEP)
- Drive contract delivery to meet safety, timeline, budget, and technical requirements
- Monitor progress against milestones and provide leadership reports
- Identify risks and facilitate issue resolution
- Ensure schedule development and maintenance within overall Project framework
- Deliver required List of Deliverables (LOD) for scope of work
- Apply continuous improvement principles and lessons-learned practices
- Interface with other programmes to adopt best practices
- Maintain effective working relationships with all project stakeholders
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree and chartered status in engineering, construction or related field
- Track record in complex technical projects, preferably in nuclear energy
- Experience in multi-discipline EPCM project management
- Proven success with NEC and FIDIC contracts
- Demonstrated contract and field execution strategy development
- Strong background in cost control, risk management, and Earned Value tools
- Experience with commercial claims negotiations
Essential Skills:
- Strong project, financial, and change management capabilities
- Must have delivered large scale infrastructure schemes (£25M + in value)
- Proficiency in estimating scheduling, programming, and risk tools
- Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Detailed understanding of EPR design
- Good knowledge of CDM Regulations
- Experience with APM body of knowledge or Prince 2
- Understanding of nuclear quality assurance principles advantageous

- Based at Sizewell C, Suffolk with hybrid working available
