We are now on the lookout for a Site Agent in our Eastern Region to work on to work on Roads and Highways infrastructure schemes in Suffolk and Essex. 


Main Duties for the Site Agent: 


•    Management of site staff operatives and sub-contractors.
•    Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments and project management plans. 

•    Understand tender allowances and monitor contract costs against agreed budgets.
•    Preparing and monitoring programmes of work. 
•    Assessment and engagement of sub-contractors.

•    Manage design co-ordination.
•    Manage contracts to ensure timely and profitable completion of contracts. 
•    Inform, consult, and involve local groups as necessary. 

•    Foster good relations and reputation with clients.

•    Understand and administer contract change.
 

Are you the Site Agent we are looking for?


Already experienced as a Site Agent you will have experience in heavy civils schemes with a main contractor working Highways/ road schemes. You will have a relevant industry qualification (HND/ HNC/ BEng) or equivalent and an up-to-date SMSTS qualification, and appropriate CSCS card. A First Aid at work qualification is desirable.


Must haves:


•    Be able to maintain and monitor works against a programme and budget.
•    Ability to prioritise own workload.

•    Able to run multiple complex and non-complex sites.
•    Maintain comprehensive records.
•    Have compliance with current legislation requirements, including the production and implementation of RAMs and other associated safety/project documentation.

•    The ability to forecast cost and programme as well as produce feasibility reports.
•    Possess good technical writing skills.
•    Experienced in leading and managing teams and supply chains. 


Must have a full UK driving licence and be eligible to work in the UK.
