Sizewell C (SZC) is more than a nuclear power station – it’s a national infrastructure project with the potential to power millions of homes, create thousands of jobs, and drive the UK’s transition to net zero. As we progress toward Financial Close and beyond, our Corporate Strategy team is critical to ensuring the clarity, alignment, and strategic focus necessary to deliver this landmark project.
We are currently seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to join our growing team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure developments.
Your Role
As a Senior Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving key strategic projects and supporting SZC’s long-term vision. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Strategy, you will:
- Lead high-impact strategic initiatives aligned to our corporate objectives.
- Oversee the planning and execution of complex cross-functional workstreams.
- Shape and support the annual strategic planning cycle.
- Provide insight and advice to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and outcomes-driven team culture.
- Help shape the operational model and culture of a maturing organisation preparing for delivery and beyond.
- This role offers a unique platform to influence the future of clean energy in the UK while working with a wide range of stakeholders including Government, regulators, investors, and industry leaders.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a strategic thinker with a strong background in corporate strategy, consultancy, or business transformation.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading strategic projects in complex organisations.
- Strong academic background (degree level essential).
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical and commercially astute mindset.
- Experience in business planning, organisational change, or transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with PMO and project delivery methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP – desirable).
- A passion for collaboration and driving meaningful change.

What we are offering:
Term: 12-month fixed-term maternity cover, with the potential for a permanent opportunity thereafter.
Salary: c£70k dependent on experience
Pension: Contributory up to 7.5% employee/15% employer
Holiday: 28 days, plus bank holidays
Bonus: 10%
