Senior Setting Out Engineer (Sizewell C)

Opportunity for a Senior Setting Out Engineer (Sizewell C) working with Mactech on the Sizewell C Project,

 

  • Day rate dependent on experience plus bonus and benefits
  • Long term, full-time position
  • Site-based in Rendlesham, Suffolk
  • 5 days per week, including some weekends
  • Flexible working arrangements possible


Main Duties :

 

  • Support design checks and contractor setting out activities on site
  • Ensure contractors build in accordance with design drawings
  • Use latest GPS systems and total stations for precise site measurements
  • Produce reports and Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Utilize AutoCAD for technical documentation
  • Collaborate with construction leaders to embed safety standards
  • Manage List of Deliverables (LOD) within project scope
  • Liaise with land teams and site security
  • Ensure compliance with Principal Contractor obligations


Qualifications/Experience : 

 

  • Background in Construction or Civil Engineering
  • Proven implementation of CDM Regulations
  • Experience delivering complex projects with high safety standards
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in dynamic, technically complex environments
