What you'll be doing


• Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes for major civil engineering, enabling and earthworks activities.
• Working closely with engineers, delivery teams and the supply chain to develop the optimum construction sequence, methodology, resources and production rates.
• Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and scope documents to create realistic and achievable delivery programmes.
• Identifying critical path activities, programme risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitoring progress against plan, analysing performance and recommending recovery strategies where required.
• Producing clear reports, dashboards and programme updates for project teams and stakeholders.
• Communicating complex programme information in a way that enables informed decision-making and drives project delivery.


Qualifications 


• A degree, HND or similar equivalent in a civil engineering or geotechnical subject - desirable 
• Relevant CSCS Card


Experience 


• The ability to build construction programmes from drawings, specifications and technical information
• The ability to present, explain and communicate programme logic, sequencing and critical path activities to project teams and stakeholders
• Experience planning major construction, infrastructure or civil engineering projects
• Strong Primavera P6, MS Project or ASTA planning skills
• A sound understanding of construction methodologies, labour, plant and resource requirements
• Experience undertaking critical path and risk analysis
