Senior Engineer (Sizewell C)

Main Duties:


· Provide technical leadership and engineering support across assigned project packages.
· Review and approve design submissions, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety, regulatory standards, and project specifications.
· Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and suppliers to resolve engineering challenges.
· Ensure that construction works are delivered to the required quality, safety, and environmental standards.
· Manage engineering changes, risks, and issues, escalating where necessary.
· Support the development of junior engineers and promote best practice.
· Contribute to continuous improvement, lessons learned, and innovation initiatives.
· Prepare and present reports, technical documentation, and progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.


Requirements:


· Degree in Civil Engineering or HND/HNC Equivalent
· Chartered Engineer status (or working towards).
· Strong background in delivering major infrastructure or nuclear/energy projects.
· Excellent understanding of engineering management processes, construction methodologies, and safety-critical environments.
· Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
· Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
