Senior Cost Manager

 

Location: Based in London on a hybrid basis with travel to Suffolk as required.   

 

Contract: Permanent, full-time. 

 

Salary: Competitive dependant on experience, plus benefits 

 

Benefits include: 

  • Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays. 
  • Bonus: 5% annual bonus. 
  • Pension Contributions: Defined Contribution Pension Scheme with up to 7.5% employee contribution 15% employer contribution.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Cost Manager to join the Sizewell C project team. This is a pivotal role responsible for leading cost management activities across major contracts and work packages within a complex, multi-billion-pound infrastructure environment.

 

You will work closely with project controls, commercial, procurement, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure robust cost planning, forecasting, reporting, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.

 

About You

  • Significant experience in cost management within major infrastructure, nuclear, energy, or construction projects
  • Proven track record managing large, complex contracts (£100m+)
  • Expertise in cost forecasting, earned value management and risk analysis
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, or related discipline
