We're looking for a driven and highly skilled Section Engineer to join our team delivering the Marine Bulk Import Facility (MBIF) - a major marine construction project supporting the build of the Sizewell C nuclear power station.
This is a rare opportunity to work on a complex, high-profile scheme involving marine piling, modular construction, and a 463m-long jetty installation.

What You'll Be Doing:
As a key part of the site operations team, you will take ownership for the smooth and compliant delivery of your work packages. Your responsibilities include:
• Leading daily site engineering activities to ensure safe, high-quality delivery
• Managing and mentoring Site Engineers
• Preparing contract documentation and ensuring approvals are in place prior to mobilisation
• Maintaining accurate site records, ITPs, redline drawings and quality submissions
• Supporting the Construction and Commercial Teams with progress reporting, forecasts and cost data
• Ensuring risks, actions and project deliverables are tracked, closed out and continuously improved
• Producing 3 Week Look Ahead programmes and working closely with planning teams
• Driving best practice across Safety, Quality and Sustainability
• Collaborating with preconstruction, design, plant, commercial and operations teams to deliver efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
• Working towards or holding a professional qualification (MICE, MIStructE)
• Valid CSCS and SMSTS
• First Aid certification (desirable)
• Engineering degree or equivalent (desirable)
Experience
• Strong experience in piling, ground engineering, marine construction and temporary works
• Proven experience working within NEC contract environments
• Confident people manager with the ability to mentor and develop engineering staff
• Excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills
• Ability to solve problems, advise senior management, and drive performance
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Projects (CAD desirable)
