Regional External Affairs & Development Team Administrator
Sizewell C 
 

Location: Sizewell C Information Office, Suffolk (4 days per week in the office)
Contract Type: Permanent, part time, 4 days per week


Salary: Full time equivalent salary of £32,000 - £34,000 + up to 5% bonus (pro rata) and extensive benefits including:
• 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (pro rata for part time)
• Contributory pension scheme up to 7.5% employee / up to 15% Sizewell C

We're looking for an organised, proactive and highly dependable READ Team Administrator to join our Regional External Affairs and Development (READ) team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on organisation and takes pride in being the person who keeps everything moving behind the scenes.


Supporting a busy and high-profile team, you'll play a central role in ensuring colleagues have the administrative, organisational and logistical support they need to successfully engage with key stakeholders, local communities and partner organisations across the region.


The Opportunity
 

This is far more than a traditional administration role.


You'll become the hub of the READ team, providing essential support across meetings, finance, office coordination, team activities and stakeholder engagement. No two days will be the same and you'll be trusted to manage competing priorities while helping the team operate efficiently and professionally.


Working closely with senior leaders and colleagues across the business, you'll coordinate team activities, support office operations, manage key administrative processes and contribute to the successful delivery of projects and events.


This role would suit someone with previous experience as a Team Administrator, Team Coordinator, Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Office Administrator, Office Manager or Project Support Administrator.

What You'll Be Doing
 

• Providing administrative support across the READ team and wider business as required
• Coordinating meetings, diaries and team activities
• Supporting the Head of READ and wider team with organisational and administrative requirements
• Preparing and coordinating weekly team meetings and reporting activities
• Managing office rotas and supporting visitor coordination alongside security colleagues
• Supporting local team meetings and events
• Highlighting training, charity, diversity and inclusion initiatives and project events to the team
• Providing finance administration support including invoices, purchase cards, trackers and month-end activities
• Supporting colleagues with company systems and maintaining awareness of process changes
• Monitoring team training compliance and records
• Assisting with the delivery of team events and engagement activities
• Helping maintain a professional, welcoming and effective office environment
• Providing support and cover for front-of-house activities at the Information Office when required
• Supporting community engagement activities including occasional cover for the community phone line

 
What We're Looking For


We're looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable and able to remain calm under pressure. You'll be comfortable managing multiple tasks, enjoy working with people at all levels and have a proactive approach to solving problems.
 

You'll also have:


• Strong experience in an administration, team support, coordination, PA or office based support role
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience coordinating meetings, diaries or team activities
• The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• The ability to deal with confidential information professionally and discreetly
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to support a busy team


Experience using Tractivity would be beneficial but is not essential.
