Opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor (Sizewell C) working with Blackwells on the Sizewell C Project,
Main Duties :
- Commerical Management of the Project
- Measurement, contractual correspondence, procurement and management of subcontractors
- Procurement and placement of material orders
- Submission of interim and final accounts
- Identifying, notifying and valuing compensation events
- Preparation and maintenance of budgets
- Progress monitoring and cost control including material reconciliations and weekly production reporting
- Financial reporting including cost and value reconciliations and cash flows
- Attendance at progress meetings
- Maintenance of a site diary, record keeping including as-built records
- General management including staff training
Qualifications and experience required:
- 5 years Experience in Quantity Surveying
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
