Quality Engineer (2 Year FTC)

Main Responsibilities


Quality Systems & Compliance 


-Identify and implement measures, controls, and procedures to ensure quality standards are met
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan and associated documentation systems
- Establish inspection & test plans (ITPs), quality records, and work procedures for geotechnical and piling activities
- Ensure effective document control and traceability of all quality documentation
- Study and interpret legal, contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements applicable to the works
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and internal procedures


Site & Operational Support 


- Advise operations managers on quality risks and compliance obligations
- Review and approve method statements; verify correct implementation on site
- Monitor QC activities performed by site engineers and supervisors
- Conduct direct inspections and testing where necessary to verify compliance
- Provide ongoing guidance to engineers, supervisors, and site teams on quality expectations


Defects & Reporting 


- Monitor construction progress from a quality perspective
- Identify non-conformances and lead corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare and submit regular QC status reports to project management and client representatives


Education


- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (preferred)


Experience


- 3-5 years of experience ideally in heavy civil construction, with geotechnical works
- Experience managing quality systems on infrastructure or major projects
