General Overview:

This role is primarily based at Leiston and Sizewell C - Working on the Sizewell C contract, reporting to the QSHE manager in delivering and maintaining the Document Manager (DM) system for the Sizewell C contract.


You will take a lead in defining and establishing procedures, standards, undertaking internal audits, establishing approved suppliers, setting standards for Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental (QSHE) monitoring performance and producing statistical reports.


You will ensure that the facilities provide a safe and secure environment that enables the client's staff to concentrate on their business activities.


You will be an integral part of the site QSHE team in ensuring that the Dalkia site team, and sub-contractor RAMS are at the highest level and suitable for the client to review and approve.

 


Duties:

· Continually reviewing the Dalkia DM procedures to meet current and future internal requirements, as well as Statutory and Regulatory QSHE standards.

· Performing internal, project and supporting supplier audits to ensure processes are clearly

· understood and carried out.

· Managing Dalkia, and supplier non-conformances, supporting the Project and Mobilisation team in investigating product non-conformance.

· Completion of Client and management QSHE reports.

· Assisting with the development of new RAMS, including writing RAMS where contract has gaps. Ensure competency levels are maintained and improved.

· Interface with internal and external customers to convey requirements and resolve issues

to drive efficient and effective process.

· Create, edit and maintain procedural documentation including, but not limited to, departmental policies, procedures and guidance documentation in the contract DM in conjunction with relevant standards and operational staff.

· Perform document processing and filing using manual and electronic documentation systems, as per established procedures.

· Produce and review DM & QSHE performance reports.

· Support project teams in the production of RAMS & QSHE documentation packages in line

· with internal and client requirements. Supplier management.

Customer liaison and service

· Supporting Projects in assessing product specifications and customer requirements. Acting as key contact with client auditors and being responsible for ensuring the execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with client specifications.

· Investigating and responding to customer feedback/complaints.

Employee training and coaching

· Establish and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality and business risks issues across all business streams.

· Identify needs and make recommendations to implement relevant quality-related training.

· Promote Health and Safety within the team and raise awareness amongst team and ensure all Health and Safety instructions are followed.

· In line with the sustainability policy ensure effective and economical use of equipment and materials.

· Undertake any training identified to ensure compliance and skillset are met.

· Undertake any other duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected by the Dalkia Account Director.

 


Qualifications

· Educated to GCSE A level or equivalent standard e.g. NVQ Level 4.

· Proven experience in quality assurance, document control, supply chain, operations, and/or quality departments within a construction environment preferred.

· Experience applying quality system regulations and standards ideally ISO 9001.

· Ideally will have experience of quality control within a technical/mechanical engineering environment, with the ability to read engineering RAMS

· Internal auditor training/ experience in ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO18001 and ISO45001.

· Ability to produce relevant reports and presentations accurately and concisely.

· Excellent numeracy skills with the ability to assimilate and analyse information.

· All systems are heavily IT reliant and therefore a good understanding of IT, Systems and Communications is required including a good working knowledge of MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

· Attention to detail

· Ability to work well without supervision

· Highly motivated

· Clean Driving Licence
