Dalkia have an opportunity for a Project Manager - Small Works and fit-out to join the team at our growing facilities across Sizewell C based near Leiston.


Reports To: Mobilisation & Projects Manager

Location: Leiston and Sizewell area, Suffolk
Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri


General Overview:


This role is primarily based at Leiston and Sizewell C - responsible for organising, co-ordinating and planning small works projects, and contract office fitouts. Working with the space planner to review internal, new and existing buildings on the Sizewell C estate. Ensuring that the facilities provide a safe and secure environment that enables the client's staff to concentrate on their business activities.
You will be an integral part of the site management team in ensuring that the Sizewell C properties and space utilisation are planned and co-ordinated correctly. Assist the Space Planner with producing space utilisation reports to the Mobilisation & Projects Manager.


Duties:


•    Coordinate with move labour, Space Planner and the Mobilisation & Projects Manager.
•    Communicates clearly with client teams to meet their needs and deliver service with a high level of excellence
•    Project Manage all Scheduled moves and office fitouts.
•    Provide operational and procedural support to ensure projects are executed in accordance with established departmental, building, and client means, methods, and procedures
•    Manage one-off relocations and office set-ups for client new builds
•    Receive and manage all requests for end user moves
•    Self-motivated and assures that all moves are project managed and agreed to a suitable time scale
•    Ensuring electronic and paper records, including reports are completed in a timely manner.
•    Managing all queries from both internal and external clients through to conclusion.
•    Promote Health and Safety within the team and raise awareness amongst team and ensure all Health and Safety instructions are followed.
•    In line with the sustainability policy ensure effective and economical use of equipment and materials.
•    Undertake any training identified to ensure compliance and skillset are met.
•    Undertake any other duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected by the Dalkia site senior leadership team.


Impact:


This role is to ensure that Dalkia have the correct resource levels to meet the contract and client expectations; there is no direct responsibility for budgets or people. The role is to assist in ensuring that the client's infrastructure is operating correctly under space utilisation and are successful in allowing our customers to concentrate on their business activities with minimum disruption.


Qualifications or Required Experience: 

 
•    Must have high I.T. skills in Microsoft office 365 package suit
•    Able to read & understand construction/internal plans.
•    Perfect fluency in spoken and written English
•    Work may involve physical exertion in the transporting of various materials or equipment
•    Work may require sitting or standing for extended periods of time
•    Assigned Day to Day tasks
•    Role in similar position preferred
•    Good communication skills
•    Attention to detail
•    Ability to work well without supervision
•    Highly motivated
•    Clean Driving License
•    Good client facing skills
