Opportunity for a Project Manager (Sizewell C) working with TRU 7 on the Sizewell C Project,
We are looking for a driven and experienced Project Manager to join our growing team in East Anglia. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, confident, and client-focused, with strong commercial, communication and technical skills. You must be able to lead independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.
You will bring a pragmatic, proactive mindset and demonstrate sound judgement across all areas of project delivery. You'll be liaising with clients and senior management regularly, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Main Duties:
- Leading and managing a site team including Engineers, Foremen, and Supervisors
- Keeping accurate records of variations and extra works, and ensuring timely communication to management, commercial team, and client
- Attending daily/weekly site and client meetings
- Planning and tracking project progress
- Assisting with plant and labour allocation in collaboration with the Construction Manager
- Developing Method Statements and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, building regulations, and best practices
- Ensuring compliance with company quality procedures and ISO 9001 standards
- Developing temporary works solutions with appointed designers
Essential Experience / Skills
- NEC 3 Contract experience required
- 5+ years of experience in Civils & Earthworks
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
- CAD experience would be advantageous
- Confident in client-facing situations
- Non-confrontational and collaborative approach
- Strong organisational and resource management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic and a drive for career progression
- Proven commercial awareness
Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Discipline
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification
