Opportunity for a Project Manager (Relocated Facilities) (Sizewell C) working for Mactech on the Sizewell C Project,
Key Responsibilities:
Define and manage work scopes within the Site Delivery Teams.
Secure and manage resources, maintaining SQEP standards and addressing personnel issues.
Develop and implement effective execution strategies aligned with the overall Programme Execution Plan (PEP). Maintain open communication with all stakeholders and drive the delivery of contracts on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Anticipate, manage, and resolve project issues, including risk management and budget updates.
Ensure consistency in project schedules and deliverables, reviewing contractors' payment applications.
Foster continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
Lead and manage the performance of your direct team, ensuring all mandatory training is completed.
Qualifications/Experience:
SMSTS certificate alongside with Site Supervisor or Site Manager SCSC card is essential.
Extensive Civil engineering construction knowledge and experience delivering and managing large and complex infrastructure construction projects and regulated environments. Size of projects minimum £15mil plus.
Successful track record in engaging and managing stakeholders, contractors, consultants and other advisors.
Strong communication and management skills including construction management, project management, financial management, change management and facilitation.
Groundworks, earthworks, and management experience.
Strong skills in cost control, risk management, surveys, H&S auditing sites, schedule management, and earned value tools.
Exceptional organizational and team leadership abilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, IT and facilitation skills.
