Project HSEQ Advisor - FTC 6 months (Sizewell C)

Job Responsibilities (not exhaustive):


•    Undertake HSEQ inspections across the full scope of HW Martin works and provide written reports on all completed inspections,
•    Provide assistance in the reporting and investigation of HSEQ accidents,
•    Undertake internal audits across the full scope of the HW Martin works and provide written reports on all completed audits,
•    Monitor the closure of open actions and provide assistance to the project team to ensure that all actions are closed within the set SMART parameters,
•    Assist the Project HSEQ Manager in developing period HSEQ reports, both internally and externally,
•    Undertake trending analysis from all data sources (internal & external audits, inspections, accident investigations) and provide information to the Project HSEQ Manager,
•    Assist in checks to ensure that all departments are following approved procedures according to an internal audit programme,
•    Develop and manage project HSE Risk and COSHH Assessments,
•    Co-ordinate and arrange health and safety at work training for staff and HW Martin staff,
•    Arrange and maintain SZC Project HSEQ notice boards,


Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:


•    Construction experience    
•    Demonstrable administration skills particularly around data management.
•    NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
•    Internal auditor to ISO45001 or ISO9001.
•    Maintains full awareness of all existing applicable legislative and assurance requirements.
•    Portrays enthusiasm, passion, and ambition to learn and develop.
•    Positive 'can do' attitude.
•    The ability to liaise with all levels of management on a professional level, using good communication/interpersonal skills.
•    Good organisational skills to be responsible for managing own workload.
•    You should thrive on the challenges of working within a diverse role.
