Project Controls Reporting Manager (Sizewell C)

 

Permanent

42 hours per week 

Salary: £70-85k 

 


Sizewell C (SZC) is vital to the UK's future energy strategy. As the second of the UK's next generation of nuclear power stations, SZC is both high profile and highly complex.


The Project Controls Reporting Manager role comprises of Compile and generate high-quality, formal reports that effectively communicate project progress, performance, risks, and issues to internal and external stakeholders, ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. 


The Reporting Manger reports directly into the DLT, as part of the Enabling and Earth Works section within the PMO Function.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working within a reporting, planning or project controls role on complex and mega infrastructure projects
  • A degree, HND or similar equivalent in a relevant subject is desirable.
  • Experience of preparing reporting packs to an Executive level standard.
  • Familiarity with planning software.
  • Experience of using Power BI dashboards and other reporting tools.
  • An understanding of the construction industry, methods of construction, plant, equipment and labour requirements


Principle accountabilities, activities and decisions

•    Accountable for overseeing the reporting processes and ensure consistency and accuracy for Civils Work Alliance of the SZC project.
•    Liaise with project stakeholders to gather reporting requirements across function, sections and for collaborative reporting with CWP.
•    Develop and implement reporting standards and procedures.
•    Review and validate reports prepared by the Reporting Admin.
•    Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in reporting data.
•    Train and mentor.
•    Approval of finalised reports before dissemination.
•    Implementation of process improvements and reporting tools
