Opportunity for a Project Controls Manager - Site working with Mactech on the Sizewell C Project,


Main Duties:

 

  • Manage day-to-day Controls functions team within the Programme
  • Liaise with supply chain and central finance team on budgets and financial performance
  • Support Programme Director with progress reporting and schedule updates
  • Oversee production of weekly/monthly reports on progress, actuals, and forecasts
  • Ensure consistent application of Project Controls processes
  • Identify variances and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide guidance on Project Controls requirements to Project Managers and Supply Chain
  • Drive performance improvement through strategic planning and analysis


Qualifications/Experience:

 

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience
  • Substantial experience in Programme, Project, or Commercial Management
  • Experience managing large programmes and strategic changes
  • Track record of managing contractors in complex construction programmes
  • Professional institution membership/fellowship desirable
  • Detailed understanding of governance and strategic planning
  • Strong knowledge of construction technology and site logistics
  • Commercial and legal/contract expertise
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation abilities
  • Strategic risk analysis capabilities
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
