Project Controls Manager (BOP) (Sizewell C)

Job Purpose
Manage the day-to-day Project Controls team across the programme
Lead planning, cost, risk, forecasting, and reporting functions
Coordinate budgets and financial reporting with finance teams and supply chain partners
Support the Programme Director with progress reports, schedule updates, and variance analysis
Deliver weekly and monthly programme reporting in line with governance requirements
Ensure consistent project controls processes and standards across the programme
Provide guidance to Project Managers and contractors on project controls best practice
Monitor programme performance across cost, schedule, risk, and contracts
Establish and manage baseline budgets and schedules
Lead and oversee teams including Heads of Function and wider delivery personnel
Manage stakeholder relationships with contractors, consultants, and external partners
Identify improvement opportunities and drive performance across delivery teams
Support assurance and governance activities within a regulated infrastructure environment
Monitor contractor and supply chain performance against programme objectives
Qualifications
Degree qualification or equivalent professional experience
Experience
Significant experience in Project Controls, Programme Management, or Commercial Management
Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure programmes
Experience in regulated environments (e.g. nuclear, rail, energy, utilities, defence)
Strong knowledge of:
Governance and PMO processes
Strategic planning
Risk analysis and management
Cost control and forecasting
Construction delivery
Contract/commercial management
Experience managing contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders
Leadership experience managing large multi-disciplinary teams
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
