Job Responsabilities

· Responsible for the complete Schedule related activities for a Programme Area

· Accountable for liaising with the supply chain and the assurance and contract compliance of their Schedule related information

· Co-ordination of Schedule Functions to ensure the delivery of integrated schedule and Project Controls management information.

· To support the Programme PCM and PMO Schedule Lead with progress reporting including schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification and opportunities for improvement.

· Accountable for the on-time production and quality of month end IWS forecast, baseline and Performance Reports

· Help ensure SZC is viewed by the Construction Industry as an exemplar in Schedule Management through knowledge sharing, networking and delivering presentations to the sector.

· Management of senior stakeholders related to the scope being controlled or within SZC.

 

Qualifications:

Degree or equivalent qualification in business analysis, accounting, finance, construction, engineering or project management, or related technical field.
Active membership of AACE, PMI, APM or similar association with association certifications.


Experience:

· A track record of working as a Schedule Lead or Project Controls Manager on large and complex infrastructure projects.
· Expert planning and scheduling knowledge
· Extensive experience in Primavera P6
· Experience in Acumen Fuse or other schedule quality packages
· Detailed understanding of Schedule Hierarchy, Schedule integration, Schedule change.
· Able to promote planning and scheduling across the project at all levels
· Sound contract acumen, in particular the NEC suite and FIDIC.
· Sound understanding of QSRA
· Knowledge in construction management
· Good understanding of the Design processes
· Knowledge of CDM and the impact on the schedule.
· Knowledge of Project Management techniques as described in APM Guidelines or similar learned society
· Experience of successfully managing a team in a matrix structure on a project.
· Experience with increasing responsibility showing an ability to manage senior stakeholders.
· Deliverables focused and an accomplished problem solver, rising to meet any challenge.
· Excellent presentation, influencing and facilitation skills.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
