Planner – Infrastructure - Leiston, Suffolk


Location – Leiston, Suffolk 


Purpose of the role:


As a Planner working on our brand new £124m major highways project in Leiston, as part of the new Sizewell C development, you will work closely with the Senior Planner in order to develop, update and manage the construction programme to ensure on time delivery. 


What you will be doing:


•    Understand project management, pre-construction, and construction processes
•    Develop and manage pre-construction and construction programmes, integrating design and procurement
•    Produce logistics, sequencing, and 4D programme plans
•    Prepare programme commentary, outline method statements, and preliminaries assessments
•    Provide ongoing project support and challenge solutions to optimise programme durations
•    Present programme information and progress to directors at bid settlement
•    Implement and comply with Quality, Safety, Environmental Policies, and GT BMS processes.
•    Ensure effective document management through 4Projects


About you:


•    Passionate and committed to delivering excellence
•    Proven track record in planning major civils projects (highways/public realm).
•    A self-sufficient team player, driven to achieve exceptional performance
•    A background in site engineering, with first-hand understanding of project delivery is desirable but not essential
