We are recruiting experienced Pipelayers for the Sizewell C project. This role is strictly for qualified and competent pipelayers, carrying out drainage and pipeline installation works to exacting standards on a major infrastructure project. This is not a general groundworks position.


Key Responsibilities


Laying and jointing pipes including foul, storm, surface water, and ducting
Working with clay, concrete, plastic (PVC/HDPE) pipe systems
Trimming, levelling, and preparing pipe beds to line and level
Installing manholes, chambers, gullies, and inspection points
Using lasers, boning rods, and levels to ensure accuracy
Connecting into existing drainage runs
Working closely with machine operators to safely guide excavations
Ensuring correct backfilling and protection of installed services
Following all Sizewell C safety, quality, and environmental procedures


Requirements:


Valid CSCS card (Blue or above preferred)
Confined space / drainage-related tickets (advantageous)
Proven experience as a Pipelayer (essential)
Previous experience on large civils or infrastructure projects preferred
Strong understanding of drainage gradients, falls, and tolerances
Ability to work independently from drawings and specifications
