Parking Duty Manager/Offsite Delivery Lead (Sizewell C)

Location: Sizewell C, Leiston, Suffolk (5 days a week onsite).

Contract: Permanent, full-time.
Salary: £50,000 -£55,000  depending on experience plus benefits


Benefits include:


Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays.
Bonus: Up to 5% annual bonus.

The Role:


We’re looking for an experienced Parking Duty Manager/ Offsite Delivery Lead to oversee the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of SZC’s off-site parking infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a once-in-a-generation project that will shape the future About the Project


As Parking Duty Manager/ Offsite Delivery Lead , you’ll manage the day-to-day operations of SZC’s park and ride facilities, liaise with bus transport services, and ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient commuting experience for employees. Your role will involve supervising staff, monitoring transport schedules, maintaining service standards, and ensuring compliance across all parking and shuttle operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Oversee daily operations of car parks, ensuring smooth traffic flow and efficient occupancy.
Supervise and schedule car park attendants and support staff.
Monitor and manage Fly Parking concerns.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and incident reports professionally.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and accessibility regulations.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and service standards.
Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and internal teams.
Work closely with Tier 1 bus operators to ensure punctual and compliant operations.
Resolve delays, breakdowns, and passenger concerns efficiently.
Liaise with Community Safety Officers and G4S Security on-site.


What We’re Looking For:


Essential Skills & Experience


Proven experience managing parking facilities and operational risks (e.g., fire safety, traffic flow). 
Strong knowledge of local parking laws, regulations, and accessibility requirements.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills, including MS Office and parking management software.
Full UK driving licence. 
Ability to write detailed reports and maintain high-level correspondence.


Desirable:


First Aid or Security certification.
Experience in Park & Ride, large campus, hospital, or industrial settings.
Experience with automated parking systems.
Conflict resolution training.
Understanding of parking systems & technology.
IOSH/NEBOSH Health & Safety Certification.
