Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.
 
We are seeking a PMO Analyst to join our Operations function and play a vital role in managing assurance and operational activities within the PMO.

 

The stakeholder landscape for Sizewell C is complex and the project will face many requests for data, information, and presentation from diverse internal and external parties. The PMO Operations team acts as the hub for managing critical activities across delivery programmes and the finance organisation. 

 

In this role as PMO Analyst, you will work closely with the project delivery teams and project stakeholders to support operational efficiency, monitor the effectiveness of the PMO and coordinate robust and proportionate assurance. You will help maintain confidence in the project by delivering consistent

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Supporting day-to-day operational activities within the PMO.
  • Developing high-quality content, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate internal and external assurance activities, ensuring alignment and clarity across teams.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of PMO operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Playing a pivotal role in developing, maintaining and updating dashboards, requiring advanced Excel and PowerPoint expertise.
  • Ensuring all teams understand and fulfil their assurance responsibilities effectively.

What You Bring:

 

  • Proven experience supporting operational or assurance-related activities within a PMO or similar environment.
  • Strong analytical and content development skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with a flair for presenting complex data clearly and effectively.
  • A willingness to learn and natural curiosity around business processes to improve effectiveness. 
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to engage and coordinate across multiple functions.
     

 

Skills

 

  • A background in Project Management or professional services.  
  • Capability of learning new things and quickly using the learned knowledge to adapt to a complex project environment. 
  • Proficiency with analytical and presenting software particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 

 


Desirable:

 

  •  Formal project management qualifications would be a plus.

* Sizewell C Limited will be moving offices from 90 Whitfield Street to 25 Copthall Avenue. 
 

25 Copthall Avenue is a modern building just a short walk from Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations. Sizewell C will occupy the whole of the 4th floor. We are targeting a move in February 2025.
This role will be contractually based at 25 Copthall Avenue. However, depending on the date of the move there may be a period that you will be required to work temporarily from our existing office at 90 Whitfield Street
 

 

Sizewell C Limited (Sizewell C) is nuclear site licensed company whose business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk. Sizewell C was formerly under the majority ownership of the EDF Group but is currently majority owned by HM Government and operates as an independent company. EDF remains a key shareholder in Sizewell C and the business therefore maintains close links to EDF as a part of its ‘nuclear family’.
