Sizewell C Project requires an experienced Logistics Lead to drive the delivery of logistics for the Civil Works programme working in collaboration with the Works Alliance (CWA) and Site Operation teams. This role leads the logistics function for the project which itself provides support to the Delivery Teams.


The Logistics Team contains two primary strands:


The facilities, processes and arrangements that the project needs to develop to support the construction within the MCA.
The systemisation of working arrangements that create the most economic ways of constructing the works.


Main Duties:


Defining the interface between the Sizewell Site Delivery team and the CWA so that there is a clear understanding of who does what for the project. This will include the arrangements for handing over of the ACA & TCA between the parties.
Understanding the requirements for the whole of the project to define and establish what support the logistics team provides.
Providing expertise in logistics management, drawn from best practice in the industry to optimise construction of the works. Learning from HPC and HS2 are both key inputs to the management of Sizewell.


Co-ordination with the Sizewell Site Delivery team relating to:


How people get to work.
The office and operative accommodation within the site.
Security arrangements for the project and working areas.


The provision of:


Labour.
Plant.
Site Wide Materials and Consumables.
Accommodation.
Security.
Transportation of materials and consumables to the site and around the site.
Site wide Emergency Arrangements.
Off Site storage.
