Labour Coordinator (Sizewell C)

Labour Planning & Coordination


· Maintain the labour demand plan for the Enabling & Earthworks logistics activities, ensuring alignment with the construction programme and daily operational priorities.

· Coordinate with subcontractors and labour supply partners to secure required workforce numbers, skills, and certifications.

· Track workforce mobilisation status (e.g., onboarding, vetting, induction, passes, training).

· Organise and confirm daily/weekly labour allocations across logistics functions (e.g., traffic management, plant marshals, delivery coordinators, earthworks support operatives).


Logistics Delivery Support


· Work closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure adequate staffing for:

- vehicle marshalling & delivery management

- materials handling and laydown operations

- earthworks logistics support

- site welfare, waste management, and haul road operations

- Forecast labour demands through CWA and Subcontract teams ensuring labour agencies are communicated planned works and labour desk meets demands from site teams.


Stakeholder Coordination


· Serve as the point of contact for labourr elated questions from site supervisors, subcontractors, and operational leaders.

· Liaise with Security, HR, and Training teams to resolve onboarding blockers and maintain compliance with nuclear site requirements.

· Communicate changes to labour levels due to schedule shifts, weather impacts, or operational constraints.

· Develop and maintain site shift reports / rosters across the project and all teams.

· Highlight to Senior leaders - shortfalls in labour / shifts

· Ensure costs are proportationed to correct TOCS / task orders

· Complete weekly reports to Senior leadership teams on labour / costs.

· Highlight training needs and shortages in cover for roles.


Compliance, Safety & Reporting


· Ensure workforce compliance with site rules, health & safety procedures, competency requirements, and right-to-work documentation.

· Support incident investigations related to labour or logistics activities when required.

· Produce weekly labour utilisation reports, KPIs, and workforce dashboards.

· Maintain accurate workforce records in project systems (e.g., induction databases, labour trackers, rostering tools).


Qualifications 


· Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise across multidisciplinary teams.

· Proficiency in MS Excel, workforce trackers, and planning tools.


Experience 


· Experience in labour coordination, construction logistics support, or workforce planning on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects.

· Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and resource streams.

· Understanding of construction site logistics, earthworks operations, and site access control procedures.
