Junior Planner and Programmer (Sizewell C)

The Junior Planner and Programmer will support the planning and delivery of the core and non-core works associated with the Sizewell C Project. Working within the Project Controls and Operational Delivery Teams, the role will assist in developing, maintaining monitoring, and reporting construction programmes to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project milestones.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual seeking to develop a career in planning and project controls within one of the UK's largest and most complex infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will gain exposure to highways construction and maintenance, traffic management, stakeholder management, programme controls and nuclear industry standards.

The role requires close collaboration with the operational teams, engineers, commercial teams, subcontractors, and the Sizewell C client team to support the successful delivery of project objectives.


Qualifications and Training


• GCSE's (Or equivalent) including maths and English
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Suite of applications and ability to learn
• Comfortable handling data, numbers and structured processes.
• Excellent communication skills across departments.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and adapt to changing deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• CITB Health & Safety Test.
• HWM Sizewell Internal Competency Assessment.
• Full UK Driving Licence


Essential Experience


• Basic technical software skills
• an analytical mindset
• Demonstration of willingness to develop new skills


Desirable Experience


• Some experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project environments.
• Exposure to Microsoft Project or other planning applications


Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
