In this role, you’ll drive collaboration and ensure seamless coordination across multiple areas of our business. While you won’t be directly reviewing designs or documents, you’ll play a vital role in managing and orchestrating risk resolution activities. Your focus will be on ensuring alignment, progress and effective resolution of technical challenges.

Working as a Issues Resolution Lead you’ll know exactly who the important internal and external networks are to communicate between technical teams, senior leadership, and key stakeholders - essential to ensuring a structured approach to risk resolution.
- As the Issues Resolution Lead, you will report to both the Head of Transverse Technical and the Technical ROR Manager, ensuring alignment with the overall technical strategy and a coordinated approach to managing technical risks. This is a highly collaborative role, requiring strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to navigate complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.
About You
- You are highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and coordinate across teams.
- Your strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enable you to liaise confidently with various stakeholders.
- You excel at problem-solving, quickly identifying issues and implementing solutions to keep things moving forward.
The Skills
- Experience working in large infrastructure projects.
- Background in engineering, or a degree in engineering (or a related discipline).
- Project management experience in a relevant industry.
- Understanding of Risk Management processes.
- Excellent communication skills in client-facing and contractor facing situations.
- Highly organised and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in IT skills.
Desirable
- Previous experience in the nuclear industry.
- An existing network within Hinkley Point C or Sizewell C will be hugely beneficial.
If you thrive in a high-stakes environment and are ready to help deliver some of the most complex projects as our Issues Resolution Lead in the nuclear energy sector, we’d love to hear from you!
