Interface Engineer

Rates: £360 PAYE to £500 UMBRELLA per day
Contract: Temp
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain Interface Management Plan throughout project lifecycle
- Monitor and coordinate interfaces across CWP teams
- Produce standardized documents and reports for senior management
- Support Project Managers with interface agreements
- Prepare and manage Interface Milestone Definition Sheets (IMDS)
- Capture and track interface agreements between teams
- Monitor progress and schedule requirements
- Identify and initiate change requests from interface requirements
- Ensure interface issues are handled and closed
- Maintain collaborative approach across teams
- Document milestone success criteria and completion context
- Track critical path and cross-programme dependencies
- Identify and communicate excluded scope and non-delivery impacts
Experience Required:
- Understanding of interface management on large infrastructure projects
- Good project management skills
- Experience with construction activities, approaches, and standards
- Strong communication skills for complex technical issues
- Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in assurance and challenge
- Discretion with sensitive information
- Proven track record of innovative problem-solving
Desirable Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience
- Previous interface management experience on major infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of nuclear construction standards
- Experience with integrated work schedules
- Stakeholder management experience
- Project controls background
