Infrastructure Maintenance Technician (Sizewell C)

The Infrastructure Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out routine, preventative and reactive maintenance activities across the Sizewell C project site.
Working as part of a small multi-skilled team, the postholder will contribute to the safe maintenance of traffic management infrastructure and environmental assets while supporting the commitment to the Sizewell C Zero Harm culture, operational excellence and environmental stewardship.


Essential Qualifications and Training


• Operative CSCS Health & Safety Test.
• CSCS Operative Card.
• National Highways Sector Scheme 12D (LANTRA) or CPCS Plant and Vehicle Marshall (A73).
• Safety Critical Medical.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• HWM Sizewell Internal Competency Assessment


Desirable Qualifications


• Additional plant operation qualifications.
• First Aid at Work.
• PASMA Mobile Access Towers.
• Manual Handling Awareness. (must be acquired in first three months)
• Street Works qualifications.
• Environmental maintenance qualifications.
• Winter maintenance experience.


Essential Experience


• Experience in civil engineering, highways maintenance or construction.
• Experience with traffic management, banksman and winter operations.
• Knowledge of safe systems of work and construction site safety requirements.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced operational environment.
