Main Duties:


Ensure and demonstrate compliance where applicable to:
H&S law and best practice
CDM requirements
Vodafone and customer specific Health and Safety policies
Where appointed, supporting the Principal Designer and Principal Contractor in their duties,
Manage, review the Customer Health and Safety Management Plan
RAMS generation, approval and on-site compliance.
Ensure and demonstrate that all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements of the VBTS Contracts and Vodafone policies are fully delivered by the VBTS - Professional Services teams.
As required attend customer or Vodafone premises to assist in H&S deliverables
Assist in processes and documentation development.
Ensure that the dedicated account is maintaining records in line with company procedures and legal minimum requirements
Review and develop the accounts Health and Safety Plans for allocated projects
Liaise with client/principal contractor health and safety representatives and project personnel
Assist the account with KPI implementation, with H&S risk data capture, control and trend analysis. Issue monthly safety awards on allocated projects as per the project KPI's
Produce health and safety reports on a monthly basis for the dedicated account(s)


Qualifications:


NEBOSH diploma or equivalent / NVQ Level 5 or higher.
NEBOSH General with Construction Certificate will be considered if support with relevant experience /covering letter.
SSSTS, SMSTS (CITB)
CITB MAPS
CSSNG Safety Passport and CCNSG LATS.
Knowledge of Health Safety, Environment Law, including the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations
Practical experience of Safety Management System delivery and monitoring. 
Practical experience of Safety Systems of Work, generation, delivery and monitoring.
Self-Development - Keeping up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Environment
Agency (EA) legislation and any developments that affect Vodafone or our customers, maintaining own capability and competence such that they can fulfil statutory obligations placed on Vodafone regarding access to competent advice.
Self-driven with ability to work with the minimum of supervision, while able to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, suppliers and customers.
Must be eligible for SC Clearance.
