HR Business Partner - Early Careers (Sizewell C)

Location: Suffolk, with some travel to London (office- based typically 3 days per week).

Employment type: Permanent full-time/ part-time.
Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full- time position, but we are open to discussing other arrangements if appropriate.
Salary: c.£50,000 plus bonus and other benefits.

Sizewell C is seeking a dynamic Early Career HR Business Partner to help lead and implement our innovative Early Careers Strategy, onboard new talent, and shape the future workforce of one of the UK's most exciting and ambitious projects.


About the Role:


As the Early Careers HR Business Partner, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to develop and support early career professionals at Sizewell C. You’ll provide expert HR guidance, pragmatic solutions, and hands-on operational support. Collaborating with the Nuclear Skills Academy (NSA) and our Early Careers Recruitment Team, you will help create a seamless and enriching journey for young professionals entering the world of nuclear energy and beyond.


In this role, you’ll be working on a massive scale with a project that’s breaking new ground. Sizewell C is a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment where no two days are the same. You’ll have the unique opportunity to shape HR processes and ensure they’re aligned with the needs of a large-scale construction project transitioning into an operational power plant.


What You’ll Be Doing:

 

  • Workforce Planning: Keep our early career workforce plans up-to-date and ensure recruitment aligns with the needs of the business.
  • Learning & Development: Drive the growth of early career professionals by identifying development needs, facilitating career conversations, and ensuring clear paths for progression.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Champion D&I initiatives, helping us attract a diverse talent pool and ensuring an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Talent Management: Collaborate with career managers to ensure varied and meaningful placements, nurturing the next generation of nuclear industry talent.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR teams, career managers, and external partners to provide seamless onboarding and support for early career recruits.
