Overview


You'll develop and deliver a people plan and build an on site generalist HR service from the ground up to support our fast growing team delivering facilities services at Sizewell C, a ground-breaking new nuclear power station project that will provide low-carbon electricity to power 6 million homes.


Hours


Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, typically 8.45am - 5.15pm
Minimum 3 x days on site (ideally 4), 1 -2 x days working from home. We're open to discuss how we could accommodate other flexible working options


Responsibilities


Leading on all people processes in the lifecycle of an employee
Building and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships both within the business and across the wider HR community
Championing talent management and driving activities across the sites
Advising Managers and employees on all generalist processes/ activities including employee relations
Delivering change management processes, for example restructuring, redundancy, redeployment, consultation and TUPE
Collating and providing HR data, tracking, identifying and providing trends and solutions to the business
Carrying out recruitment related activities including supporting workforce planning, conducting interviews, attending local recruitment events to promote Dalkia Facilities as an employer in the community
Making a contribution to developing guidelines and people processes
Contributing to wider HR strategy, initiatives and projects


Requirements


CIPD qualification, level 3 or studying towards
Generalist HR Advisor experience in a site based role
Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR policy/practice and employee relations
Experience of aligning HR plans/ activities with site/ business goals
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Adaptability and resilience to operate successfully in a change based, fast paced environment
CIPD qualification, level 3 or studying towards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Full valid UK Driving Licence and own transport
