Engineering Manager (Sizewell C)

Key Tasks and Accountabilities


• Provide overall technical leadership and oversight for civil engineering projects, from concept through completion.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and quality control procedures.
• Manage delivery of contractor and temporary works design.  Review and approve designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Ensure compliance with industry, regulations, codes, and safety standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project engineers, and technical staff.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, project managers, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support business development efforts by providing technical input for proposals and bids.
• Oversee management and execution of temporary works or lifting (subject to suitable experience)
• Review ITPs and RAMS

Essential Requirements


• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or eqiuvelant,
• Chartered Engineer (MICE, MIStructE or equivalent).
• Relevant experience in civil engineering, including leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing large-scale or complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil design standards, and construction methods.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to balance technical excellence with business and operational objectives.
• CSCS Card.
