Electrical Project Lead (Sizewell C)

The Alliance TW electrical manager will start the project in a strategic role based in London at the project office, with visits to the Suffolk area to gain familiarity. Then more Suffolk based as the Civils project commences.
The TW electrical project manager you would be responsible for overseeing the design, installation and supply of electrical systems.
Day-to-day, you'd draw up schedules, allocate time, resource and budget, as well as manage staff to ensure work is completed on time, to a high standard.
Development of solutions for both infrastructures HV and LV distribution systems to deliver electrical power to the plant, equipment, tools, facilities, light, emergency lighting, and ensure all is protected correctly, earthing protection, detection, switch.
He will report to the CWA plant leader and implement the electrical procedures and standard to the overall TW electrical scope, enabling works, earthwork, Marine and Tunnel, Anxiliary building, Main Civil work.
Knowledge & Skills
Essential
• Experience of managing an electrical team on large UK civil engineering projects.
• Understanding of electrical engineering
• Leadership skills, people management
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to carry out logical problem solving
• Communication skills
Desirable
• Nuclear/license condition experience.
• Experience of managing electrical team on multiple large civil engineering projects.
Essential
• Authorised Person
• CSCS PQP Card and/or CSCS Black Managers Card.
• SMSTS or IOSH Managing safety.
Desirable
• Experience working within Joint Ventures/Alliances.
• UK major construction experience and associated training.
• Level 4 or 5 Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical and Electronic
